I came with quite big expectations to Prague. I’ve heard from many people that this city was beautiful. It is also cited in most of the the travel magazines, showplace of a lot of movies, books, and so on. So did it fulfill my big expectations?
Yes, it did. The architecture is unique and mesmerizing. Every single house in the city has a different look, a unique decoration and color.
The view from the riverside towards the numerous, unique and majestic buildings is wonderful. The countless monuments, viewpoints and tourist attractions will satisfy your hunger for exploration and sightseeing.
However, if you dislike big cities, that are very touristic, Prague might bring some disadvantages. Because of its prominence, it is overcrowded with tourists. Trying to cross the famous Charles bridge, you feel more like entering a stadium rather than crossing a charming, old bridge, it is that much crowded.
Nonetheless, if you get to know the city, which takes you a few days because of its size and amount of attractions, you will definitely find something for you taste: Countless museums, bars, great nightlife, fascinating history, views, parks and so on.
