This very popular sentence in Jamaica reflects it undeniably. Something is "just fine" or "okay".
That's why the country and it’s laid back, welcoming people is a real gem. Listening to reggae in every corner, tasting bbq chicken jerk and looking towards the white sand beaches with crystal clear blue water, what else do you need?
But it not only offers stunning views and tasty food, you have tons of activities you can do: zip lining, adventure parks, hiking on the dunn river falls, bob sleighting and so on.
We went on a horseback ride through the island’s nature and beaches. The horses made a good impression on me, looked healthy and treated well (I used to do horse riding, so i know a little about it).
They first led us through the Jamaican jungle before we could ride along the beautiful beaches. We saw the Papilloln cove, named after the famous movie that was shot on this place. The final of the tour was a swim on the horseback in that warm, crystal clear water. What an experience!
Jamaica offers, besides beaches, also lots of culture. Learn about its rich history, reggae and of course about Bob Marley.
Anyhow, I need to come back to Jamaica with more time and explore more. As Usain Bolt said: „I can't really live outside Jamaica. I can be away, but only for a while“
And for those wondering: Yes, you smell that weed in the streets and you’re offered every 5 minutes or so a joint or a space cookie.
